The husband and I went to Costco this evening and I picked up some flowers! Well, they're technically bulbs but soon, they will be flowers. For $14.99, I got a 4-pack of spring flowers, including:
tulips and daffodils
tulips and lilacs
I put three of them on the mantle in the hearth area of the kitchen to watch.
This is the lilac up close- the bulb sits on a plastic ring to keep it up straight. Or, in this, case, kind of straight.
These are some tulips bulbs. Hopefully they grow and bloom soon! It says 2 weeks, so we'll see. Yay spring!

Cute! And let me just say that the Ball jar collection on your mantle is a great idea!
Very cool! Can't wait to see then when they're all blooming and beautiful! They sure do brighten up a room.
